Dr. Ruth Mbulatawiwi
1947 — 2019 · Chibok, Borno · Marghi Central
Dr. Mbulatawiwi qualified as a physician in 1973 and returned home to build a network of rural clinics that still serve tens of thousands.
She trained community health workers in Heba, insisting that care be delivered in the mother tongue.
